Q) What does spirituality mean to you?
Spirituality can be a deeply personal and subjective experience. Hence, it can mean different things to different people. Spirituality means creating meaning, purpose, and connection to something greater than our cognitive mind. It involves exploring our inner selves, cultivating a sense of mindfulness, and seeking a sense of peace and harmony. It also includes meditation, yoga, self-reflection, introspection, silence, solitude, compassion, or engaging in activities that bring us joy and fulfilment. Thus, spirituality is about finding a sense of transcendence beyond the material world.
Q) What are your spiritual practices?
– Meditation: To be alert, attentive, and aware from one moment to the next.
– Yoga: for the body through yogic exercises, for the mind using mindfulness, and experiencing the soul impartially by witnessing and examining my mental and emotional flow.
– Awakening my inner self, being consciously and constantly aware of every thought, feeling, and action dictated by the mind.
– To be more present rather than brood in the past or future.
– Learn how to live with love with all that exists in nature.
– To have the utmost clarity in all that I think and do.

Q). How has spirituality helped in your life?
– Finding meaning and purpose beyond personal desires, attachments, identifications, and emotions.
– Balancing the material life with that from spiritual practices.
– Cultivating a sense of inner peace, calmness, and emotional stability.
– Discovering, awakening, and experiencing the soul through self-discovery, self-reflection, self-experiencing, and self-awareness.
Q) What are some challenges you’ve faced in your spiritual journey?
– Fading away from religious and mystical beliefs established in the family, culture, and community.
– How to constantly self-reflect on my ego engulfed in the false persona of ‘I, me, and mine.’
– Often falsely convincing yourself you are spiritual in self-deception, especially when you are engaged both in the material and spiritual.
– Overly accumulating spiritual knowledge rather than concentrating and contemplating to experience and realise profound spiritual enlightenment.
– The habit of identifying and attaching to desires, beliefs, and emotions.
– While balancing the art of walking like a tightrope walker between the material and spiritual life, you realize how difficult it is to apply in this material world of ego and unending desires.
Q) How do you stay connected to your spirituality in today’s world?
– Remember, staying connected to your spiritual self is a personal journey. It may evolve and change over time. Always listen to your inner voice to discover what resonates with you.
– Establish a daily spiritual code and practice.
– Maintain silence and aloneness.
– Self-reflect to introspect your thoughts, feelings and actions.
– Have grace and respect for all that is around.
– Adapt, modify, and evolve to transcend and transform over time gradually with clarity.
– Take total care of all three – body, mind, and soul.
– Gratitude and compassion – service to others in whatever way you can.

Q) What advice would you give to someone who is just starting on their spiritual journey?
– A spiritual journey is a transformative and personal experience. First, You will need to know the difference between the terms – Spiritualism, spirituality, spiritual, and what the spirit is all about and how it affects your life.
– Life exists by us making choices between dualities in opposites – divine/devil. good/bad, truth/lie, positive/negative, ending with material/spiritual life, etc., etc.
– Only after you are content with your material emotional desires in accumulations, identifications and attachments should you begin your spiritual journey in understanding, experiencing, and its realisation. Meaning, to know how to balance the above two where you have clarity, consistency, and clairvoyance.
– For the rest, you will get enough material on the internet, books, and other mediums to embark on this journey.
Q) What is the most important thing you’ve learned about spirituality?
– Self-discovery – when you become self-aware to know you are beyond the body and the cognitive thinking mind, the whole concept of life changes.
– Besides seeking outwards to fulfil your emotional desires, after clinging to all that you identify and attach to your ‘I, me, and Mine, – you transcend seeking that inner self through which you self-reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and actions to realize that mind is your tool to use and not be used by it.
– You realize you are a composite unit of Body, mind, and spirit(soul). Simply because, without awakening the soul, you remain incomplete, unfulfilled, and lost in this maddening, desirous world.
Q) What is one thing you are grateful for in your spiritual life?
– How it creates meaning and purpose to life; now you know what the soul/spirit is and how to experience it. You live a balanced life to love everything around with grace and respect, in silence and solidarity with peace of mind.
Q) What is your vision for the future of spirituality?
– Spirituality is a highly personal, subjective, and experiential topic. Personally, my honest views are as follows:
– First, it is jumbled up with religion, which seeks separation, claiming my faith is superior, whereas spirituality is connected to all as one in unity and continuity.
– Second, the subject is to discover your soul in self-discovery, self-awareness, self-experiencing, and self-realisation, going beyond the cognitive mind and body to know the inner self, which can decipher, reflect, introspect, deviate, and reform to transcend and transform its mind.
– Third, the subject of Spiritualism as I know it is from pre-historic Advait Vedanta (all that exists is not two), where truth, reality, love, etc., exist in the duality of this and that, here and there to appear and disappear in relativity. Thus, we refer to the above-said factors as Maya, an illusion. It declares all that ultimately exists is the unchanging Brahmin, the substratum within which all that appears merely comes and goes, superimposed on the absolute Brahman (brah-to expand). Moreover, it is identical to what Quantum Physics claims: all that exists is energy within which all matter and consciousness are superimposed.
– Energy comprises many abilities, out of which the prime is how to make living creatures aware and conscious of whom and what they interact. Humans have the highest ability of this absolute energy: hence the dictum, That Art Thou – “Tat Tvam Asi – Aham Brahmasmi.” You are that aware conscious energy which enables you to become aware and unaware depending upon the degree of your inner intelligence – “Prajnanam Brahma.”

Conclusion
Spirituality is a lifelong journey, and there’s always more to learn and experience. Thus, the more you explore, the deeper your understanding will become. Hence, be patient with yourself, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes on their spiritual journey. But the important thing is to keep learning and growing.
Remember, spirituality is a personal journey. There is no right or wrong way to do it. Find what works for you and stick with it. The most important thing is to be open-minded and willing to learn new things.
As you continue on your spiritual journey, you’ll find that it brings you a sense of peace, joy, and fulfillment that you never thought possible. It will help you to connect with your true self and live a life that is meaningful and purposeful.
