The Spiritual Awakening

What is Spiritual power? (The Spiritual Awakening) According to me, it is that inner awareness and the capability to awaken our minds from the ignorance that we are solely body and mind, and nothing more.

That something more, which we become aware of at some point in our lives, is the spirit. It provides us with the insight of knowing beyond our five senses, of the physical world. We are all endowed with different levels of spiritual, psychic and physical fields of energy which give us the ability to evolve and transform into our unique individualities.

The Upanishads of ancient India called the spirit ‘Brahma’ or ‘Brahman’, which encompasses the universe and remains constant, indivisible and intact. Therefore the relative forms of the body/mind keep changing, but the spirit, as the witness, continues to watch in an absolute, unchanging manner.

The essence of spiritual recognition and consistency in whatever we perceive is revealed only if we are consciously aware of our own self. Aware energy is that primordial spiritual power, which takes the mind beyond sensory perceptions into perceiving the unknown intuitively and creatively but spontaneously, without analyzing. It is free and self-sustaining, dealing with areas of consciousness beyond the limits of personal identity.

This, as we understand it, is the power of the spirit. As the absolute cosmic energy, while manifesting in the mind, it awakens us, making us conscious to experience life. It shows that everything we know, personal and the impersonal, God and the devil, absolute and the relative all represent zero when considered in their oneness. Meaning until and unless the material and the spiritual merge back into their point of zero in oneness, there will be no solace.

The inner being is spiritual and the outer is mental. Both the spiritualist and mentalist are ignorant as long as they are separate. Our individual name, fame and knowledge have no spiritual meaning unless we dissolve with all as one to become aware and conscious and experience to realize this whole in its entirety.

I have been repeatedly saying that the mind can either be a friend or a foe, depending on the use we put it to. It is for us to choose, either in the reality of the present moment or back into past emotions and experiences. If we fill the mind with negative thoughts life becomes a burden. All achievements seem beyond reach, magnifying the stresses of daily living. If on the other hand, we think and act on positive thoughts, life becomes more fulfilling. Try and focus inwards and reap the rewards simply by watching through our spiritual mind (The Spiritual Awakening).

Acquiring spiritual bliss may not be within everyone’s reach; however those who are sincere in their efforts can achieve this objective by delving deep within and finding ways to overcome their shortcomings to lead fuller lives. It is imperative that we appreciate the gift of life we have been given. We must correctly balance our material wealth with spiritual wisdom in order to attain comfort for the body, peace for the mind and joy for the spirit.
